Edge Compute Device (ECD) Information

The Information tab provides you with access to details about the ECD’s:

• Connection Options

• Serial Number

• Hardware Identifier

Dashboard Information Tab

Once you’re logged in to the dashboard, Access the Information tab by clicking the System dropdown arrow on the left side of the dashboard screen.

Information Fields

ECD Edge URL

Connect via the Edge URL to access the ECD over the Local Area Network (LAN). This type of connection may offer lower latency and faster response times.

ECD Cloud URL

Connect via the cloud URL when the ECD is exposed to the internet. This type may produce slightly higher latency than an edge connection.

ECD Serial Number

A unique number is assigned to the ECD and can be found on the bottom of the device. This number matches the number found in the Information tab.

Hardware Identifier

The Hardware Identifier allows ZeroKey support to identify a specific ECD. This unique key is constant and does not change. The Hardware Identifier can also be used to attach a license to a specific ECD. If an offline license is needed, this key will be required to generate it.
